A Season of Waiting and Wonder
Four weeks to slow down, turn inward, and prepare your heart for the arrival of Christ.
Growing up, Advent meant Christmas was coming. The cakes, the decorations, Santa Claus, the whole beautiful excitement of it. Lately I have learned how to actually walk in the journey. Knowing the meanings, following the readings, understanding what it truly means to prepare for His arrival. Not just for me personally, but for what it means for the world. That shift changed everything about how I experience this season.

What is Advent?
The word itself means “coming.” It is a season of anticipation, a liturgical waiting that the Church has observed for centuries.

The Four Sundays of Advent

Each Sunday of Advent carries a theme. These are not just words, they are promises the Bible unpacks across centuries. Each card below links to a word study worth sitting with.
